Frequently Asked Questions
View All FAQsMelissa Odabash swimwear is cut with a refined Italian fit, which sits closer to the body and can feel smaller than standard sizing. We generally recommend choosing one size up from your usual size, and sizing up if you are between sizes. Coverage preference will also influence your choice, particularly in styles with tie fastenings on the tops and bottoms, where the fit can be adjusted.
Use our Size Guide for a quick reference, or visit Find Your Fit for more detailed guidance on shape, support and coverage. Our bikini tops and bottoms are sold separately, so you can select the size and silhouette that suits you best.
Melissa Odabash swimwear is not cup-sized, but selected underwired bikini tops and swimsuits offer added support. If you would like help choosing your size or shape, our Customer Care team is on hand to offer personalised fit advice.
For greater support, look to our supportive bikini styles with underwired cups. The Brussels, Bel Air and Del Ray bikini tops are all unpadded and underwired, offering a secure fit and natural shape.
The Brussels is a signature halterneck with adjustable ties, while the Bel Air has an over-the-shoulder bralette shape with adjustable straps. The Del Ray combines an underwired bralette silhouette with tie fastenings, allowing you to adjust the fit. For a one-piece alternative, the Abruzzo Swimsuit offers maximum underwired support in an elegant over-the-shoulder shape.

A Melissa Odabash bikini is designed to move through a holiday, not remain poolside. Pair it with a coordinating sarong or lightweight cover-up by the water; for lunch or time away from the beach, add a kaftan, beach shirt, linen trousers or skirt.
For Mediterranean destinations such as the Amalfi Coast, Capri or Sicily, look to crisp linen, crochet and lightweight layers. In the Maldives or Caribbean, fluid kaftans and dresses suit the heat while carrying the look into lunch or sunset drinks.
Melissa’s lived understanding of travel is reflected in pieces that work together across the destination. For sightseeing or evening, layer swimwear beneath a shirt, dress or lightweight co-ord and finish with sandals, a hat and a beach bag.
